Conveniences for Senior Pet Owners

AT-YOUR-DOOR-SERVICE: The closest thing to an easy button for all your pet’s needs

Sixty-seven percent of U.S. households, or about 85 million families, own a pet, according to the 2019-2020 National Pet Owners Survey conducted by the American Pet Products Association (APPA). And according to the 2019 University of Michigan National poll on Healthy Aging, 55% of Americans age 50-80 own at least one pet. No matter the age, with those pets come added responsibilities, such as grooming, vet visits, purchasing of food, etc.

Thankfully for today’s pet owners, more businesses than ever before make it easy to check these items and chores off your to-do list by offering pickup and/or delivery services. The coronavirus and social distancing measures have made these offerings more valuable and even a necessity for some.

If you’d like to add some free time back to your schedule, then take advantage of these conveniences and help support local pet-related businesses. It’s a win-win.
